3 Diy's I'd Love To Make

A new year, a new month and hopefully some new skills. I don't normally make new year's resolutions but this year I've decided to use it as an opportunity to develop some new crafting skills. Not only are these all diy's I'd love to make but they also all include a new skill I'd love to learn.

Here's the 3 Diy's I'd love to make/learn this year:

1. Macrame. How gorgeous is this Giant Macrame Rope Light from Vintage Revivals? I've always been a bit intimidated by those fantastic looking macrame wall hangings but I think I could give something like this a go.

2. Natural dyeing. I love this post from Design Love Fest about Diy Fabric Dyeing. I got a book about natural dyeing for Christmas so I'm looking forward to learning more about it. Who knew you could make a pink dye from avocado pips? Not me.

3. Jewellry making. I've always wanted to have a go at making my own jewellry and these Diy Twist and Knot Rings from Fall For Diy look like a good place to start. Such a simple and elegant design and they don't look too hard for a beginner.

How about you? Any new crafts you'd like to try out?
