NEON PINK DIPPED CANDLES.

Diy neon pink dipped candles - gathering beauty

Dipped candles seem to have been all over my Pinterest lately. I found this fantastic diy for ombre dipped birthday candles over on The Proper Pinwheel a few months ago and I've been dying to make some ever since. I already had some crayons left over from making this painting with melted crayons and as soon as I spotted these candles I knew what I wanted to use them for. After all, who wants boring white candles when you can have bright neon pink ones instead.

Things you'll need to make your own neon pink dipped candles are:

Plain candles (for dipping and chopping)

Assorted Crayons

Empty tin can

Saucepan

A butter knife

1. Chop or grate up a couple of candles into the tin can. Place the tin can into a pan of water and heat over a low flame until completely melted.

2. Using the knife shave the crayons into the melted wax. Stir until blended.

3. Carefully remove the can from the heat and place on a heatproof surface.

4. Dip the candles into your melted wax and repeat until you're happy with the result.
