St. Patrick's Day Crafts

ST PATRICK'S DAY DIY'S.

St. Patrick’s Day Craft Ideas.

I don't normally do St Patrick's day here on the blog but I've come across so many fantastic green-themed DIY's I couldn't help but share. With a week to go there's still plenty of time to get crafty and try one of these twelve projects.

DIY Crochets Shamrocks For St. Patrick’s Day

These little DIY crochet shamrocks are the perfect way to add a touch of green to your outfit on Saint Patrick’s Day!

St. Patrick’s Day Cookies

Delicious alphabet cookies covered in edible glitter are the perfect St. Patrick’s Day treat.

DIY Rainbow Cake Topper

I am on a bit of a rainbow kick, all due to St. Patrick's day!  After I made these, naturally I needed to make a cake topper as well. Rainbows are just so cute! I am going to share a couple more St. Patrick's Day DIY’s before I reveal them all as one big St. Patty’s party!

DIY Giant Lucky Charms

Giant lucky charms. The best thing to happen to life since… lucky charms. My philosophy about most things is that they are scientifically 10x better when they are enlarged or shrunken. Lucky Charms fits in that category.

St. Patrick’s Day Clover Crown

Have you ever made a paper flower crown before? This clover crown is almost the same, but even quicker because the clovers are more simple than flowers. You’ve still got time to make one before St Patrick’s Day – maybe you’ll be extra lucky this year!

Printable Leprechaun Mini-Cupcake Toppers

Prepare to “charm” all your friends this year with these adorable leprechaun mini-cupcake toppers. These easy to make toppers are the perfect last minute addition to a St. Patrick’s Day party and are a creative way to dress up anything with frosting. No one will be able to resist these bearded silly treats!

DIY Pot of Gold Balloon Surprises

Excited to share some fun little projects for you fellow Irish folks out there! I created these little pot of gold balloon surprises for Balloon Time. You can whip ’em up and let the leprechauns do the rest!

DIY Mini Rainbow Balloon Arch

Today we’re sharing a mini version of a balloon arch and would look great as a table centerpiece of photobooth backdrop. Balloon arches are actually really easy to make and mini balloon arches are even easier (less to blow up!) Don’t miss all our other St. Patrick’s Day ideas!

Gold Leather Four Leaf Clover Garland DIY

This little idea of a gold four leaf clover garland came to me in a whirl, just in time for St. Patrick’s Day.  I was so excited to make it happen. I love four leaf clovers! Anything that gives you luck or the promise of  a really good day seems a beautiful thing to me. That four leaf clovers only come to those that work hard to find them suits me just fine!

Book Binding Tutorial with Embroidered Cover

I love embroidering paper. It is simple, yet it transforms a plain piece of paperboard into something strikingly lovely. Apparently, I got bitten by a gold four-leaf clover bug this year. Did you see this gold garland from earlier this week? I began these little books with a hand drawn design, which I filled in with paint and stitches as detailed below. I finished them off with a Japanese Hemp Stitch book binding.

DIY Giant Shamrock Streamers

If you think these shamrock streamers look familiar, you thought right! I posted these shamrock streamers way back when and recently they were featured in Martha Stewart Living’s March issue! YAY! In honor of the exciting feature, I decided to make them jumbo-size.

Cute Rainbow Cupcakes with a Pot of Gold

Rainbow cupcakes with a pot of gold are easy to make and a perfect treat for Saint Patrick’s Day cupcakes (or any occasion)!  Fluffy white clouds hold a candy rainbow.  Of course, there is a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

P.S.If anyone wants to whip me up a batch of those rainbow cupcakes I wouldn't say no.
