To celebrate the start of the new year I’ve got my free printable 2022 calendar ready for you to download. You know how much I love a free printable planner.
One of my absolute favourite things to do in January is to get out the new calendar and start filling it in. And as these free monthly calendars are always one of my most popular posts it seems like there’s a lot of you out there that likes to do this too.
Each month is topped with a different colourful pattern to help jazz up your walls and add a little fun to your planning. It has a clean minimal design with the pattern at the top to allow for maximum calendar space.
As there isn’t a huge pattern taking up half the page it’s printer-friendly and won’t use a lot of ink. It looks fantastic printed on simple white cardstock and stuck to the wall with some pretty washi tape.
Print it out and pop it in your binder, on the fridge or above your desk to help you stay organised.

I used last years calendar for everything from menu planning, keeping track of birthdays and appointments, organising holidays and planning out my blog content.
For anything moveable like blog post ideas or day trips, I recommend writing them down on those skinny post-it note page markers and then if plans change you can always peel and reposition them as you go. It’s a great way of keeping your calendar relatively mess-free.

Tips and Tricks.
I know ink can get expensive when you do a lot of printing so I like to use a HP Instant Ink Printer.
I pay a small amount every month that lets me print to my heart’s content. When my ink is running low I get replacement printer cartridges mailed straight to my house and can return my old ones for recycling.

If you’re using an A5 planner change scale to 50%. Make sure to select “scale to fit”.
I recommend using good quality paper for printing your planner pages. The ink looks crisp and clear giving your pages that shop-bought look.
Style your pages by putting them on a clipboard, in a ring binder, notebook binder or even bind your own with a paper punch binder machine. This one is cute for mini-notebooks and scrapbooks.
