A homemade wreath is always a lovely addition to any home, whether you hang it on the front door or display it inside above a fireplace. It's a great way to add some spring colour to a room.

I've included a range of wreaths from simple ones made using basic craft supplies like a hot glue gun, plastic Easter eggs and some spray paint to more intricate ones using floral wire to make an Easter bunny wreath.

Best Easter Wreath Ideas.

Start off with a classic floral wreath using silk or fresh flowers. You can choose pastel colours for a traditional spring look or mix in some bright colours for a modern twist.

These ones are pretty easy to make. A good place to start if you've never made anything like this before. All you need is a grapevine wreath or moss wreath to use as a base, some floral wire and your choice of flowers.

Begin by wrapping the wire around the wreath, then attaching the flowers using the wire. Continue until the wreath is full and you're happy with the look.

DIY Easter Wreaths.

For a fun and colourful wreath, try making a pom-pom wreath. You'll need a styrofoam wreath for this one and some pastel-coloured yarn.

Wrap the yarn around the wreath, making sure to cover it completely. Use more yarn or some floral wire to attach the pom poms. You could even add some bunny ears as a finishing touch like the cute wreaths above.

Another popular one is a wreath made using Peeps. To make this one you'll need another foam wreath, some toothpicks/cocktail sticks and some Peeps of course.

Attach the toothpicks to the Peeps and push them into the wreath. Continue until the wreath is full. Make sure to add a ribbon to the top so you can hang it up.
