How to Make Your Printable Halloween Treat Boxes.
1. Start by downloading the free template and printing your chosen designs onto white cardstock.
2. Choose your favourite design, or print all three if you want a matching set of Halloween boxes.
3. This is where you can get creative! Colour in the printable Halloween treat boxes using your favourite pencils, crayons or markers.
4. Carefully cut around the outside of the template, following the solid outline.
Pay attention to the small notches on either side of the box. These help the finished pillow boxes fold together neatly.
5. Gently score the dashed lines with a ruler and a bone folder. For the curved dashed lines at the ends of the box, use a small plate or bowl to trace around.
If you don't have a bone folder, a butter knife or an old ballpoint pen works well.
6. Fold along the score lines.
7. Bring the sides together to create a tube. Secure the tab with double-sided tape or a little glue.
8. Fold in the curved ends to close the box, making sure everything sits neatly in place.
And that's it! Your adorable little boxes are ready to fill.
These printable treat boxes are a fun craft to make with children in the run-up to Halloween. Set up a colouring station at your Halloween party and let guests decorate their own boxes before filling them with treats to take home.
You could also use them as place settings for a Halloween party, adding one to each guest's plate, or hand them out as Halloween party favours at the end of the evening.
