Hi, I'm Emma.

I'm a crafter, blogger and paper enthusiast living in the North West of England.

Gathering Beauty is the place where I share craft tutorials and diy inspiration. I started this blog back in 2013 as a way of sharing all the things I love and make. I share paper crafts, clay crafts, origami, printables and desktop wallpapers as well as the odd crochet and weaving project. I hope you find something here that inspires you.

FAVOURITE FLORALS.

Spring is here and I've got florals on the brain. Here's eight of my favourites.

1. This hanging vase display from A Beautiful Mess. A fantastic way to bring the outdoors in.

2. Paper flower bouquet diy from Oh Happy Day.

3. Brighten up your computer with a floral desktop from Design Love Fest.

4. Floral stitch gift tags from Creature Comforts. Perfect for those people with spring birthdays.

5. These felt anemone magnets from The Purl Bee would look great on any fridge.

6. Another gorgeous paper flower bouquet, this time from Damask Love.

7. A pretty floral crown from Kelli Murray.

8. And finally diy giant crepe paper roses from Studio Diy.

DECORATE WITH FLOWERS.

Decorate With Flowers by Holly Becker and Leslie Shewring UK Book Cover

Today I wanted to share with you not only one of my favourite blogs but also some gorgeous photos and a beautiful new book due for UK release on the 21st march.

Holly Becker's blog Decor8 was one of the first blogs I ever read. I remember falling in love with the beautiful images almost immediately and spent the entire evening poring through the archives. Whether it's a recipe, a moody new interior or just general good advice I never fail to find something to inspire and motivate me and judging by the pictures below I expect Holly and Leslie's new book Decorate With Flowers will be no different.

Love this idea. Another great use for washi tape.

I can't wait to try this Liberty print flower pot diy. I've got an old plant pot crying out for a floral makeover.

THREE THINGS I LOVE - PUDDING EDITION.

I've been trying to eat a bit healthier the last couple of weeks so naturally all I can think about is sweet sugary goodness.

Here's the three sweet treats that caught my eye this week.

1. I'm a sucker for anything lemon, it's my favourite so this warm lemon pudding from Seasons & Suppers is perfect.

2. These bakery style blueberry scones from Pinch of Yum would make a great breakfast treat especially if you've got guests staying.

3. And I don't think I know anyone who wouldn't love these vanilla cream-filled doughnuts from Brown Eyed Baker.

Happy friday everybody.
