DIY DECORATED BAUBLE GIFT TOPPERS.
/ EmmaWith Christmas looming I'm sure you have a few gifts that need wrapping. I took a trip to Ikea this week and picked up some chalkboard style baubles reduced to £2. Bargain! Instead of hanging them on the tree I decided to decorate them and use them as gift toppers instead.
Supplies: Vinter Ikea decorations (alternatives can be found here), metallic Sharpies.
Take your ornament and draw on your design using a Sharpie. I found simple designs worked the best. I stuck to holly, spots and stripes.
Here's the finished bauble.
I wrapped my gifts in brown paper and twine. I love the simplicity of kraft paper and baker's twine. To finish them off I tied on one of my decorated baubles and added a gold star or fir cone. Easy-peasey.
