Add a touch of flair to your bag, shoes and even your walls with one of these easy tassel diy’s. A bright, cheery craft perfect for summer #tassel #yarn #summer

Hi, how are you? It’s been a while I know. I took a little break from the blog while I’ve been working on something exciting behind the scenes (my first ebook, eek!) and thought it was about time I popped back in and said hello.

I’ve really missed sharing all of my favourite crafts here with you although I’ve still been pinning like crazy over on Pinterest. You can always find me pinning!

After a week of rain the sun is finally shining and I’ve got a diy round-up that feels bright, cheery and perfect for Summer. Who else here is a big fan of tassels?

I’ve been seeing them on just about everything lately and wanted to share 6 of my favourites. I’ve seen them made from paper, cotton, yarn, twine, embroidery thread and even leather.

Add them to shoes, bags, blankets, cushions and even walls (yes, I’m looking at you, giant tassel wall hanging). Check them out below.

DIY Tassel Earrings

I LOVE a simple DIY!  I mean, who doesn’t??   These DIY tassel earrings are SIMPLE, I’m talking 5 min simple!  No jewelry making skill necessary and you will have the cutest tassels earrings ever when you are done!  Doesn’t that sound amazing??

DIY Giant Tassel Wall Hanging

Here’s the thing: I can’t knit or crochet, but I love crafting with yarn. Luckily between pom poms and tassels, you really don’t need to know how to do either of those things to create fun and colorful yarn crafts. While I have always loved the look of yarn wall hangings, I haven’t ever attempted one. But when I had the idea to create one with giant hanging tassels, I just knew that I had to make it.

DIY Leather Tassel Flair Pins

Ya’ll know how much I love a good tassel project. I hope you love them as much as me, because I don’t have any plans of toning down my tassel obsession. Today, we’re making the mini-est of tassels to create a one of a kind piece of flair. You can rock this flair on your denim jacket, or wear it on your DIY flair tote.

DIY Fabric Tassel Bag

With a beach vacation on the horizon, I’ve been dreaming in tropical colors, so I channeled that warm-weather energy into giving my basic market tote a splashy facelift. It’s just the thing I needed to power through the end of winter with a good attitude, knowing it wouldn’t be long before I’d be dipping my toes into the clear, blue, Gulf Coast waters!

DIY Removable Tassel Pom Pom Shoe Charms

As soon as I spotted these shoes, I started dreaming up a way to DIY my own pair. I’m absolutely loving the tassel trend and I don’t think I’ll ever grow tired of pom poms, so adding both to shoes seemed like the obvious choice. I made these removable tassel pom pom shoe charms so you can just slip them on your shoes when you want to add a pop of color (and a whole lot of flair) to your outfit.

What do you think? Cute, right? I’m a bit obsessed. I’m trying to resist the urge to go tassel crazy and cover everything I own in them although maybe that wouldn’t be the worst idea ;).
