9 SUMMERY DIY'S I'VE BEEN MEANING TO SHARE.

9 SUMMERY DIY'S I'VE BEEN MEANING TO SHARE.

I know I normally share these kind of round ups on the weekend but I've found so many gorgeous summery crafts over the last couple of weeks that I had to share. They're all great but I've got a couple of stand out favourites, the pressed dried flowers in the glass frame, the crocheted daisy glasses case and even though Easter has been and gone the Easter baking party whisks can be used all year round once you change up the tags.

WELCOME TO THE NEW GATHERING BEAUTY.

Phew, I can't tell you how excited and relived I am to be able to tell you my new blog design is up and running. It's been something I've been working on in my spare time for the last few months and I'm so pleased it's finally done.

First of all, thank you so much for your patience if you tried to stop by in the last couple of days, especially to anyone on Wednesday night, it was a tense couple of hours there while I tried to transfer everything across and redirect my old blog posts. Everything should be up and running now but if you come across any missing links or glitches please shoot me an email and I'll try to fix it as soon as I can.

I've spent the last 4 years on Blogger and while I didn't have any huge complaints I was beginning to get more than a little frustrated with how hard it was to change things up behind the scenes. I'd heard great things about Squarespace and after months of deliberating I finally decided to go for it and signed up for their free trial and within a couple of hours I was sold.

Let's talk through some of the changes. If you visit www.gatheringbeauty.com you'll now be taken to the new home page where you'll find the 9 latest blog posts as well as the most popular posts and all the main craft categories such as origami, printables, freebies and weaving and crochet. I wanted to make it easier for you to find all the crafts on here so if you hover over the diy/crafts tab on the navigation bar you'll now see a drop down menu with all projects grouped together in categories.

Don't worry, you can still check out the blog the same as always by clicking on the blog tab in the navigation or bookmarking http://www.gatheringbeauty.com/blog/. If you follow the blog over on Bloglovin' nothing will change and you'll still see the latest blog posts pop up as they're published, same if you receive blog posts via email, however if you follow along on Feedly you're going to need to update it and add http://www.gatheringbeauty.com/blog/ to receive the latest posts. I'm really sorry about that and I hope it won't be too much of a pain to change.

Please check things out and let me know what you think. It's been a long time coming with quite a few late nights so I hope you like it as much as I do. I'm really excited to get going and start sharing new craft projects with you.

Thanks so much for reading,

Hi, I'm Emma. I'm a crafter, blogger and paper enthusiast living in the North West of England.

Gathering Beauty is the place where I share craft tutorials and diy inspiration. I started this blog back in 2013 as a way of sharing all the things I love and make. I share paper crafts, clay crafts, origami, printables and desktop wallpapers as well as the odd crochet and weaving project.
