DIY CLIPBOARD STYLE FRAME

Remember that gallery art pad I was talking about in this post? Well, I decided to make a really simple clipboard style frame to show off more of the prints.

I love the idea of using a clipboard as a frame because they make it really easy to swap out the artwork or photo whenever you fancy a change. I chose this Lewis Carroll quote and the 'Do more of what makes you happy' quote. I'm really loving these quick diy's lately and I think this could be one of the easiest and quickest yet.

Start by laying your print down on your mounting board and cutting it down to size. I left a 1 inch border around my print with 2 inches at the bottom.

Glue the board down onto the cardstock or scrapbook paper. I used some more of the Market Street Collection from My Minds Eye.

Trim away the excess paper.

To finish attach your print to the mounting board using a couple of binder clips.

Hang from the binder clips on a couple of nails or leave standing propped up against the wall or on a picture ledge.

And that's all there is to it. A quick clipboard style frame to display your art on.
