I have to admit that I’m totally obsessed with printable calendars and planners. There’s nothing I love more than crossing something off my to-do list. And it looks like you all feel the same as my 2020 printable calendar has become one of this year’s most popular posts.
I know that a lot of people prefer a mid-year calendar, especially if you’re a teacher, student or parent. Or maybe you just really like the idea of starting a new calendar in the summer instead of the end of the year when everything can seem so busy and hectic.
So for all you July to June school year planners, I’ve created this Free Printable 2020-2021 academic printable calendar. If you’re someone who still prefers to stay organised with good old fashioned pen and paper not digitally then you’re going to love this.
Print it out and pop it in your binder, on the fridge or above your desk to help you stay organised.
As well as keeping it clean and minimal I also wanted to make it a fun, colourful and practical monthly calendar. I do love a bit of colour and pattern but hate all the ink it uses so I’ve tried to make it as printer-friendly as possible.
Each month has a block of pattern at the top (it looks fantastic printed on simple white cardstock) and there’s lots of white space so it won’t use up a lot of ink. At the bottom, you’ll find a blank notes section to jot down any extra activities or projects.
It’s an excellent way to help keep track of your schedule, appointments, birthdays, menu plans, holidays and more. I like to use mine to plan out my blog content.
For anything moveable like day trips or blog post ideas I write them all down on those skinny post-it note page markers and then peel and reposition them as I go along. I find it’s a great way of keeping my calendar relatively mess-free, I hate crossing things out!
You can download it month by month for anyone who doesn’t want the full twelve months or scroll straight down to the bottom to get the entire thing.
How to print your Printable 2020 Calendar.

Open the PDF file in Adobe Reader.
Print out on normal office paper or white cardstock.
Hang it. Frame it. Clip it to a clipboard and display it on your desk.
Decorate it with stickers and tape and dates and to-do lists and get organised.
Top Tip:
I know ink can get expensive when you do a lot of printing so I like to use a HP Instant Ink Printer.
I pay a small amount every month that lets me print to my heart’s content. When my ink is running low I get replacement printer cartridges mailed straight to my house and can return my old ones for recycling.
