THE ULTIMATE DIY CHRISTMAS GIFT GUIDE - HOME EDITION

The holiday season is drawing near but that doesn't mean there still isn't time to whip up a few diy gifts. I've put together a list of some of my favourite diy's that I've discovered this year and one of my own ;)

I really do love putting together these round-ups so it's probably no surprise that I got a little carried away making this list. I decided to seperate the list up into catergories and first up is the home edition. They're homemade gifts that you can make and give and if you're anything like me maybe keep a few for yourself as well. If you're planning on making a few gifts this year then this is the list for you.

DIY Knit Potholders

Knitting is SO relaxing.  It’s easy to make the excuse that I don’t have time to knit (or anything else, apparently my favorite excuse for everything) but when I finally got myself to start on this DIY that I’ve wanted to do for so long,

DIY Finger Knit Rope Trivet Tutorial

I love the trivet’s simplicity and natural feel that the rope lends this project. The best part is that you can make the trivet in a jiffy, under a half an hour, with only rope and tape (to keep the rope from fraying)!

DIY Minimal Desk Tidy

I'm a sucker for a clean desk but as much as I try I find bills and paperwork still sneaking their way back. I want them close to hand but I also want them tidy so when I get round to going through them I've not lost that all important receipt or appointment card!

I love a good ring dish. Especially if you love to do thin stacking rings like I do, it’s a really good idea to have a ring dish at strategic locations in your house (next to the bed, in the bathroom, by the kitchen sink) so you always have a spot nearby when you take off your rings.
