DIY Air Dry Clay Rainbow Decoration

Wooden rainbows have been gaining in popularity. They’re great for younger kids to play with but they can be quite expensive if you want one just to sit on a shelf or table. They look great as a decoration, so I’ve worked out a way to make my own from FIMO air dry clay.

Rainbow Clay Mobile

It was so easy to make this wall hanging, and once I got the hang of these rainbows I realised there are so many options and variations for these.

DIY Rainbow Wall Art

I love muted earthy tones and I keep seeing rainbow decor all over my Pinterest feed so I wanted to make some ornaments that I could hang in a room to add a little extra cuteness.

DIY Rainbow Punch Needle

The punch rug craze has taken over and by the looks of things isn’t going anywhere fast. With good reason really. It’s such an easy and fun craft. The results are beautiful and you can make a simple wall hanging like this in about an hour. Yes, even if you are a beginner!

DIY Terracotta Clay Ornaments

Terracotta clay ornaments! They’re super easy to make, super affordable, and actually look like something you’ll want to put on the tree.

DIY Painted Terracitta Rainbow Earrings

Amongst the many reasons terracotta is my favorite color, it’s an all-season neutral that makes it the perfect hue and material to transition summer trends into fall. Pair it with bright whites and soft pinks? Summer. Pair it with deeper mustards and tweed browns? Autumn. Make tiny mantle reindeer? Yes, because terracotta clay is versatile. But enough about my obsession, let’s get into making these DIY terracotta rainbow earrings!

DIY Rainbow Earrings

I’m loving all the interesting and creative ways bloggers are incorporating them into their projects and decor, and it completely inspired me to have a go at making these rainbow inspired earrings. The bright and bold colours of the rainbow aren’t for everyone though, and so I opted for making the earrings in earthy, muted and pastel tones, for those of us who prefer things a bit more understated!

DIY Rainbow Purse Makeover

I tried to go outside of my usual color comfort zone and was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked this. Now I want to experiment with different rainbows- possibly in a completely monotone color scheme or as a half rainbow peaking over a rounded corner!

DIY Rainbow Wall Hanging

I've wanted to make a wall hanging for ages. It's a really fun project for a children's room/nursery and it doesn't take long to make.

Rainbow Mug Cozy

Okay, so technically I’m a day early on the spring front, but it’s feeling pretty springy around here! Is it starting to feel like spring in your area?

DIY Mini Rainbow Piñata

It’s piñata time!  Actually…DIY mini rainbow piñata time!  I have never made a piñata before and let me tell you this one is so incredibly simple and only takes about 15 min to make.  I used a simple craft/party item that might just turn this into the easiest piñata EVER.

DIY Rainbow Catch-All Dish

Today’s project is somewhat inspired by Rainbow Brite’s BOOTS. Yes, her boots or even her jacket. This rainbow catch-all dish with rolls of clay making a rainbow up the sides reminds me of her outfit, and it’s officially my new favorite desk accessory for catching my random paper clips and push pins.

DIY Rainbow Latch Hook Wall Hanging

Almost a year in the making! I’m finally sharing all the details on the DIY rainbow latch hook wall hanging I made for Arlo’s nursery. It was a true labor of love and due to the fact that I insisted it be huge, it took a very long time. But I’m so thrilled with how it ended up!

DIY Needle Felted Rainbow Pillow

Blog posts just got a little happier over here because my desk is now home to this DIY Rainbow Mouse pad! Up until recently I’ve been using this fabric mouse pad I made it a few years ago, so I figured it was about time to mix things up. In just two easy steps you can add a little rainbow to your day, which isn’t a bad way to start a week if you ask me!

Paper Mâché Rainbow Vase

I still needed a convenient place for my everyday tools. Insert: the Paper Mâché Rainbow Vase! It is the perfect solution for storing craft tools, while still passing as a unique art piece. I have crafted a rainbow to hold my craft supplies so I can craft more rainbows. Now if that isn’t genius I don’t know what is.
