Easy Thanksgiving Crafts.
Thanksgiving is right around the corner. I know how busy this time of year can get so I'm sharing some quick and easy Thanksgiving origami crafts with you.
Nearly all of them can be made in under 30 minutes (although there are a couple of tricky ones for more advanced crafters) and can be made using a supply you probably already have at home. Spoiler, it's paper! No special tools or skills are required here!
There are even a couple of printable crafts to make it even easier, an origami fortune teller and turkey corner bookmarks. They're so much fun to make.
Use them as holiday decor or give them as gifts to friends and family. How good would it look to have a whole gaggle of cute little turkeys running along the sideboard or maybe a 3D origami pumpkin treat box filled with candy on everyone's plate instead of place cards?
Easy Thanksgiving Origami.
If you've been following me here for a while, then you'll know how hard I find it to resist a cute holiday-themed paper craft, even more so if it's a cute origami holiday craft. So far we've done Christmas Origami, Halloween Origami, Valentine's Day Origami and Easter Origami.
Origami makes one of the best thanksgiving crafts as all you need is a simple square of paper. It still amazes me that you can take a piece of paper and with a few folds turn it into something else like a thanksgiving turkey or an adorable pumpkin gift box.
These fun crafts are perfect for everyone from beginning makers to more experienced crafters. If you're looking for something to keep the younger kids entertained while you make thanksgiving dinner the acorn or the flat origami paper pumpkin is a great place to start. They're a good one for practising those fine motor skills.
Once you've mastered the basics why not try an origami turkey? A great craft for the older kids to have a go at. Or how about an origami wreath covered in folded paper leaves? This is a fantastic project to get all the family involved with. You could even write what you're thankful for on each piece of paper before you fold it.
