Materials:

How To Make DIY Napkin Rings From Air-Dry Clay.

1. Prepare the clay by kneading until soft and pliable.

2. Roll out and flatten the clay to about 3mm thick.

3. Cut to size and trim into rectangles with a knife or ruler.

You need to be able to wrap it around the cardboard roll with some left to overlap.

4. Press alphabet stamps into the clay to personalise.

5. Wrap each strip around a cardboard tube.

6. Trim off the excess, leaving a 3-4cm overlap.

7. Peel back the clay overlap and score the ends. Add a little water to help stick the flap back in place.

8. Smooth into place.

9. Leave out for 24-72 hours (depending on humidity).
