DIY Cute Clipboards.

A few years ago I gave an old clipboard a makeover (it's included in the round-up below) and I couldn't believe how cheap and easy it was to do with a few basic craft supplies. I love a budget-friendly makeover!

One of my favourite things about decorating clipboards is that you can tailor your designs to suit your own tastes and preferences. Go bold with bright colours or go for a more subtle and minimalist aesthetic, customise your clipboards to reflect your personality and style.

Simply cover your clipboard with decorative scrapbook paper and embellishments, or create an intricate design using acrylic paint and stencils, or experiment with washi tape to add fun patterns and textures.

DIY Decorative Clipboard Ideas.

A decorated clipboard can be used for school, work, or just to organise and display your favourite things. It's an easy way to add some personality to your space. Here are a few of my favourite ways to use them below:

  • Use them to keep your to-do lists, notes, and important documents neatly organised and easily accessible by hanging decorated clipboards in your home office, kitchen, or hallway.

  • Incorporate decorated clipboards into your home decor by hanging them on the wall as unique and eye-catching art pieces. Mix and match different designs and sizes to create a visually interesting gallery wall.

  • Use them to display inspirational quotes, affirmations, or inspiring images that uplift and inspire you throughout the day.

  • They make a thoughtful homemade gift idea for friends, family, teachers, and coworkers. Customise them with their favourite colours, patterns, and motifs for an extra special touch.

  • Or use them as stylish decorations at parties, weddings, and other special events by displaying seating charts or using them as a menu board.

Giving clipboards a makeover is a great way to repurpose old clipboards or even jazz up an inexpensive one from the dollar store. Turns out I wasn't the only one with this clever idea so of course I wanted to share them here with you as well.

All you need is an old clipboard, something to decorate it with like gift wrap, scrapbook paper, acrylic paint and maybe some gold leafing and a coat of Mod Podge if you're feeling fancy and you've got yourself a cute and stylish decorated clipboard.
