Homemade Origami Gifts.

I'm a big fan of giving handmade gifts, particularly origami. They make such great gifts and are so versatile.

An origami heart can be popped in a card, tied to a gift or strung up as a garland. You can use origami letters to spell out a message on homemade cards, make a bunch of kusudama flowers or spruce up a small gift with an easy origami box.

The possibilities are endless.

Mothers Day Origami Ideas.

The best part about a handmade Mother’s Day gift is that you can totally personalise it. Not only with the colour (how about a flower-shaped bowl in Mum’s favourite colour?) and pattern of the paper but with the type of origami craft that you make.

If Mum loves chocolates make a cute box to wrap them in. Loves to read? Make a pretty butterfly bookmark. Can’t get enough of the garden? Make her a bunch of colourful tulips to display in a vase.
